Baumer forces „Lean Six Sigma“ strategy
Another ten Green Belts certified
In course of the consistent realization of the „Lean Six Sigma” strategy Baumer certifies another ten employees of the departments Industrial Engineering, development and production as Six Sigma Green Belts.
The increasing internationalization of our customers as well as of Baumer itself requires a high degree of innovation, flexibility and efficiency in all divisions of the company. Today, already all Baumer Group companies work according to the binding principles of the Baumer Operations System in order to serve their customers target-oriented and structured as a reliable partner. The Baumer Operations System units various methods and tools of process improvement, amongst others also those of Six Sigma.To furthermore guarantee and continuously improve the high quality of our products, services and application solutions we offered another ten employees the chance to be trained to a Six Sigma Green Belt. With a final examination in December the candidates could give proof of the acquired knowledge in a practical part with a concrete Six Sigma project according to DMAIC. With this they finished the training successfully. We congratulate all participants to the successful conclusion. Our Master Black Belt pushes the subject together with the Black Belts and, already today prepares the next training course for spring 2010.
