The smallest housing and active temperature compensation from -40° to optionally 200° Celsius: With the PBMH, Baumer is presenting the most compact hygienic pressure sensor on the market at Anuga FoodTec. Its steady and precise pressure measurement and optimum temperature stability values make the PBMH the perfect solution for the food and beverage industry, particularly in processes which include regular heating and cooling steps. The PBMH features hygienic certification in accordance with 3-A and EHEDG and a measuring range of 0…100mbar with a flush-mounting G1/2’‘ process connector. The PBMH also boasts compact dimensions which provide for added installation flexibility.
The pressure sensor was developed especially for use in extreme temperature ranges, including medium temperatures ranging from -40° to 125° Celsius. With an optionally available cooling line, it is possible to measure even media with a temperature of up to 200° Celsius. Active temperature compensation in a specific temperature range ensures that the PBMH has very slight temperature error.
For these reasons, the PBMH is ideally suited for the food and beverage industry - for hydrostatic level measurement or for fill quantity monitoring, for example. The PBMH is programmed with the Baumer FlexProgrammer. This single tool allows easy configuration of all Baumer process devices using a PC. Stefan Diepenbrock![]()
