While Gigabit Ethernet cameras normally require a separate power cable alongside the data cable to provide current, thanks to the new technology of "Power over Ethernet" Baumer is able to deliver a single cable solution for the GigE cameras in the TX, HX and SX series as well as for the network components such as the trigger device , switches and injectors. In this case, the data and the power supply are both carried over a standard Ethernet cable.
