Baumer now offers VeriSens®IDâ€‘110 as a vision sensor enabling faulty imprints to be reliably detected and discharged in time. VeriSens®IDâ€‘110 uses highly efficient algorithms to read and evaluate plain text, an additional feature which amplifies the already familiar matrix and barcode reading functions of VeriSens®IDâ€‘100 and VeriSens®XFâ€‘200.
Apart from reading texts and numbers (OCR), its manifold possibilities include functions to compare desired and actual states of statically or dynamically predefined contents as well as evaluation of the imprint quality (OCV). Letters, numbers and special characters can easily and interactively be taught in for this purpose. Since it reliably reads even dot-matrix characters, VeriSens®IDâ€‘110 is ideal for controlling the quality of end packaging and, for example, is implemented directly after the imprinting process. It reads 1D/2D and GS1 codes omnidirectionally and performs reliably even under difficult conditions (including code quality detection in compliance with ISO/AIM). VeriSens®IDâ€‘110 therefore combines typical applications for the final check of packed goods.
