Data transfer of up to 800 Mbit/s

In the TXD and TXF series Baumer offers two camera series with FireWire^™ interfaces. The cameras use the IEEE1394b standard and stand out thanks to their high data transfer rates. Backwards compatibility means that the older IEEE 1394a standard is also supported.

TXF Series – A step ahead with Baumer FCAM

In the TXF series we have optimized the FireWire^™ cameras especially for use in industrial systems. The cameras with the Baumer FCAM driver apply a secure protocol, asynchronous data transfer and so, as well as providing a higher level of system security, benefit from maximum exploitation of the bus bandwidth of up to 80 MBytes/sec.

TXD Series – Simple integration thanks to the DCAM Standard

The TXD series uses the standardized DCAM protocol (IIDC V1.31) for data transfer, which enables simple connection of the cameras either using the Baumer-GAPI generic program interface or other image processing software which supports this standard.
