  • For use in soiled media
  • Notch-free housing design, plane surface
  • Suppression of dirt and detergents
  • Robust housing material

The capacitive sensor is particularly well suited for the use in soiled media. The special, mushroom-headed housing and theplane plastic surface preventdirt particles from adhering to the sensor and therefore guarantee a trouble-free detection.Additionally, the integrated compensating electrode reliablysuppresses dirt as well as detergent residues. As a result, the CFAK 12 capacitive sensor detects electrically conductive media reliably despite a high degree of contamination. The extensive cleaning effort that is necessary in conventional solutions is reduced considerably. Furthermore, the very robust housing is beneficial in applications with automatic cleaning. It is resistant to detergents and provides for a long service life of the sensor.
