  • Hollow shaft diameters from 30 to 45 mm
  • 4096 ppr
  • TTL or HTL output signals
  • Electrically insulated hollow shaft

In a hot environment, for example when employed at diesel engines with high intrinsic temperatures, it is essential to provide temperature-sensitive electronic components with thermal protection to keep system availability high on the long run.

Originally a special development for a one-off application, water-cooled hollow shaft encoders in the ITD 61 A 4 Y 9 series meanwhile have firmly established in the Baumer product portfolio. By virtue of an electrically insulated hollow shaft and a resistant stainless steel housing the encoders provide ideal mechanical characteristics for permanent operation in a hot environment and withstand temperatures up to + 150°C. Hollow shaft diameters from 30 to 45 mm, a maximum resolution of 4096 ppr and TTL or HTL output signals open up wide application fields – both in the glass and ceramics industry, in foundries and other plants where a hot climate is every-day life in production.
