The combination of extremely high frame rates and simultaneous high resolutions of excellent image quality equips the Baumer HXC cameras to master sophisticated image-processing tasks. The new CMOS cameras HXC20 and HXC40 were specially developed for high-speed applications and are available in both monochrome and color versions. While the 4 megapixel camera can capture up to 180 fps, the 2 megapixel camera can even record up to 340 fps. Based on sensors developed specially for machine vision applications, their high sensitivity, Global Shutter and low signal noise features ensure an outstanding image quality that can even compete with modern CCD sensors. System integration is greatly simplified by their extensive and advanced equipment with Sequencer, Trigger Delay, Timer, User Sets, Multi I/O etc. A large internal memory allows image sequences to be recorded and thereby permits delayed image data transmission. Besides the extremely fast CameraLink Full interface, the simpler CameraLink Base interface can therefore also be used. Due to their particularly compact 52 x 52 x 37 mm dimensions, both cameras can easily be integrated into an extremely wide variety of applications. The Baumer-GAPI SDK is supplied with the cameras to support their easy integration. The Baumer configuration tool lets you adapt your camera individually to the respective application, independently of the frame grabber.
