Influence of temperature on pressure measurement

Changes in the temperature of the medium constitute a particular challenge for pressure measurement. Whether it is a cooling agent, motor oil or water being heated up for sterilisation purposes – changing temperatures can have a significant influence on the measuring results. In order to prevent this, Baumer has developed a variety of solutions. A technical article explains how Baumer`s pressure transmitters handle this temperature compensation. It is available for download.
