- Triggering over the network
- Track & Trace
- I/O functionality
In systems where you are integrating Baumer's GigE cameras, network components and sensors, the Trigger Device becomes the control center for your track and trace vision system. There are 8 inputs that can easily accommodate signals from light barriers and encoders. These signals are processed internally and associated with the test object which is marked in the software with a unique identifier. At a predefined time, the Trigger Device can trigger the connected cameras in real-time over the network. The images are transferred to a computer via the GigE interface and, at the same time, the image of the test object is marked with a same unique identification. After the evaluation of the image data in the PC, the result is transferred back to the Trigger Device which can start definable actions on the labeled object. For this function, 8 outputs are available to control barriers or other export mechanisms as well as providing status messages. With industrial voltage level compatibility, simple DIN rail mounting and a Baumer-GAPI SDK, an easy and fast integration of the complete system can be realized for each industrial application. Innovative Baumer network components are available to put your process under complete control.
