The new Baumer encoder HOG 86 series consists of HeavyDuty incremental encoders in a very compact housing. HOG 86 excels with standard Enhanced Monitoring System for monitoring proper encoder operation. Failures are recognized early on to avoid expensive dead times. The performance range of this new encoder series improves safety and facilitates compliance with new machinery directives. The high protection standard IP 66, the wide temperature range from -40 to +100 °C and a maximum shaft load of 200 N axial and 300 N radial complete the HeavyDuty character.
