All-encompassing portfolio – Measuring sensors by Baumer

Monday, 29. March 2010

Baumer's portfolio of measuring sensors comprises four different technologies and innumerable sensor variants.

[Translate to int-en:] 350

  • Photoelectric, inductive, ultrasonic and magnetic sensors
  • High resolution and repeat accuracy
  • Wide sensing ranges in miniaturized housings
  • Rugged metal housings for demanding applications

The comprehensive line ofmeasuring sensorscomprises very diverse technologies, from photoelectric and inductive to ultrasonic and magnetic sensors.

The portfolio is not only very broad, but many sensor variants in the different technologies also result in a great depth. Thus, the ideal solution is available for every measuring task. Very small sensors with wide sensing ranges can be employed when space is limited and therefore reduce design efforts on machines. At the same time, high resolutions to the micrometer range guarantee precise measurements which result in a high process quality. Robust sensors in metal housings are available for applications under rough conditions. They have a high durability and provide for high process reliability, even in demanding applications.

The long-standing profound engineering and manufacture know-how in the area of measuring sensors makes Baumer a reliable, capable partner. It also warrants an efficient implementation of specific solutions, which result in low pioneering and system costs.
