"Contactless, robust and precise"
The MLFK linear measuring system works with linear contactless sensors according to the magnetic measuring principle, and is used for the positioning and measurement of distance and position as well as direction recognition. Thanks to its special features, it is ideal for cost-effective solutions in many industrial applications in plant and machine construction. Contact-less measuring technology is largely wear-free.
The incremental, magnetic linear measuring system MLFK consists of the sensing head and a magnetic tape. The system allows a maximum resolution of 0.005 mm with a maximum distance of 0.6 mm between the sensor and the tape.
Coded magnetic tapes with alternate poles, which can also be equipped with additional tape protection, serve as master gage elements. The magnetic tapes are scanned completely contactlessly by a sensor. If the signals are properly processed, high resolution levels can be achieved with this measurement method. Since the incremental is offset by 90°, the system can also be used to determine the traversing direction.
