The Baumer line sensors ParCon and PosCon are designed for applications like the measurement of fabric widths, the position control of threads or wires, or the positioning of packaging foil.

These objects are detected with the help of the edges, even if they are at right angles to the sensor. As well as standard objects, the line sensors reliably detect high-gloss metal plates as well as transparent foils. They also have a high measuring frequency.

• Special feature

  Although they are smaller than a cigarette packet, the sensors contain not only the entire signal conditioning system but also an illumination unit with a long service life.
