Applications

Analog tachometers (tacho dynamos, DC tacho generators), usually called “tachos” for short, are devices with an output voltage proportional to the speed. They generate the output voltage by means of a generator, therefore do not require any electrical auxiliary energy and combine high signal dynamics and robustness.

In drive technology, tachos are used to record the actual speed value, for example in the following areas
