10 GigE cameras with lens control – LX series

The  VLXT cameras with direct control of autofocus lenses for liquid lenses or integrated EF mount for Canon EF lenses provide your applications with added flexibility in case of alternating working distances or changing illumination situations. The liquid lens support especially benefits applications in which the distance between the object and the camera frequently changes. The autofocus lenses are directly supplied with electricity and controlled via the camera connection. This way, they are dynamically focused within fractions of seconds even across large alterations in the working distance – without any need for mechanically restructuring the optical system. This simplifies the system configuration and expedites various applications within a production volume.

With the VLXT.EF cameras you directly configure Canon EF lenses via the software thanks to an integrated EF mount and dynamically adjust the focus and the aperture to your applications. External accessories and associated cabling become completely unnecessary. This makes integration easier, cost-effective, and fail-safe. The high-quality and often cost-effective Canon EF lenses deliver high-contrast images with great depth of field. The cameras also support modern lenses with ultrasound motors. These combine reduced power consumption with precise, low-noise, and very quick focus with high reliability for the cost-efficient and robust implementation of applications.
