Simple handling and implementation make our smart vision sensors a smart solution for you. For example, parameterization of the new smart profile sensors takes only a few minutes via an intuitive web interface. Featuring an extensive set of integrated measurement functions, they support efficient inline or offline tests without detailed image processing expertise. With the robot-compatible VeriSens vision sensors, the image-based control of collaborating robots from Universal Robots is easier than ever before. This gives you quick and easy access to vision-guided robotics applications.
Compact all-in-one solutions
Smart profile sensors from Baumer offer powerful 2D measurement performance in XY or XZ direction with unique usability integrated in a compact sensor. VeriSens vision sensors also combine everything you need for image-based inline inspections, product identification and robot control in a compact industrial housing.
Easy operability and implementation
Our smart vision and profile sensors can be set up extremely fast and can be easily adapted to individual applications – without any programming effort and during the running production process. Even collaborating robots (cobots) from Universal Robots can be controlled with VeriSens after just a few minutes of setup.
Thanks to a large selection of interfaces and compatibility with various protocols (e.g. PROFINET, Modbus TCP, IO-Link, EtherNet/IP), our smart sensors can be integrated quickly, easily and seamlessly into existing systems. OPC UA also allows direct connection to IT and cloud services. The VeriSens URCap forms the convenient connection between Universal Robot and smart vision sensors.
