With its minimalist and robust design the 360° process visualization Baumer KingCrown has won this year’s Red Dot Award in the Product Design category. The stainless steel electrical connection in combination with the visual status display is distinguished, among other things, by its maximum robustness and long-term tightness according to the Baumer proTect+ tightness concept.

With the help of innovative solutions such as the PAD20, Baumer supports customers in making production processes more efficient and optimizing the use of resources. The PAD20 analysis sensor for the detection of air and gas bubbles is the answer to a decades-old problem in the dairy industry that enables to save resources and expand production capacities.

Quite a start into the new year: Already in November, the automated coordinate alignment between cobot and vision sensor via SmartGrid convinced the readers of the inspect magazine and won the inspect award in the category Vision. 

The automated coordinate alignment of the robot-compatible VeriSens XF/XC900 vision sensors from Baumer convinced the expert jury of the inspect award 2021. Out of nine finalist products in the online voting, the sensors were awarded first place in the category Vision.

At the Process Expo in Chicago, a panel of experts from the food processing industry selected the PP20H pressure sensor as the winner of the Innovations Showcase Award in the dairy product category. The pressure sensor prevailed among the 17 finalists due to its condensate-resistant silicon measuring cell, exceptional precision across the entire temperature range, and IO-Link interface. 

The Baumer CX.I industrial cameras, with their clever design and practical functional properties as well as their great contribution to the technical progress and digital transformation of China’s manufacturing industry, convinced experts, users and media in the automation industry, and were awarded “Innovation of the Year” by MM MaschinenMarkt, and “Product of the Year 2019” by CONTROL ENGINEERING China.
