Consumer safety, milk quality and energy efficiency are all linked to best in class operation of the heat exchanger. Critical control points for food safety and operational excellence.
The most impact that a sensor can have to the success of a heat exchanger system is bound to the reaction time of the temperature measurement. The t90 time of the PT20H is the fastest in the market. This fast reaction allows to run a system on the safe side, while avoiding overheating, that causes a negative impact to the taste and to the energy balance. Fast, compact and robust are the main attributes.

To measure the impact of the heating system to the carbon footprint of a product batch by batch is only the administrative part of using a calorimetric flow sensor FlexFlow® PF20 in the hot water supply to the heat exchanger. Increasing energy demand is also the sign for change within the system, triggering cleaning on the product or demineralization on the heating side.
Pressure differences ensure, that in case of leakages the treated product is not spoiled. PP20H, unaffected by temperature changes like no other sensor, will ensure that also small difference will be maintained safely. Monitoring the pressure development in the entire system will allow to optimize the cleaning regime. The sensor PP20H is neither effected by high temperatures nor by condensation in the cold parts.
