On Friday, July 14, the students of the Leopold-Ullstein-School visited the Baumer Berlin location and were shown round the world of Baumer Hübner.

During the factory tour, the industrial business managers to be were given an insight into the production and got to know the Baumer products. A focus interest was the closeness to production and development. "We were able to see how a product comes into being right from the start" said one visitor. One of the teachers was enthusiastic about " now having some perfect and vivid starting points for teaching".

Prior to the tour, there were presentations on Lean Management at Baumer and detailed explanations on product functionalities. Also the multi-faceted career opportunities as well as the trip to get to know trainees from other Baumer locations were appreciated with great interest.

Since not many of the companies the attendees are receiving their training at maintain own production facilities, the visit to Baumer was all the more valuable. Now it’s Baumer to serve as practical example when it comes to explaining manufacture and production in the classroom.
