To recover maximum energy out of the hot wort, the heat exchanger operating as wort cooler must be perfectly controlled. The energy amount is monitored at the point the gained hot water is reaching the hot water buffer. From here it can be used in the brewhouse for different steps.
The brew house operation success can be detected with electromagnetic flow meter CombiF CombiFlow® PF75H installed in the cast wort pipe, where it accurately measures the amount of wort produced.
The final wort temperature at the cooler outlet is ideally measured by temperature sensor CombiTemp® TFRH. The large display allows the operator to clearly read the value even from a distanc. Additionally the display will signal an alarm by changing color as soon the temperature range is outside the limits.
In the hot-water outlet of the wort cooler the amount of energy is monitored by calorimetric velocity sensor PF20H, this way supporting sustainable information in a simple way using flow and temperature information.
Hot water temperature in the buffer tank is measured with utmost precision by temperature sensor TE2. Free selectable length ensures measuring operations at the relevant points.
