Optimize resource consumption, reduce total cost of ownership

How you can make your processes more efficient with hygienic sensor solutions. Save time, energy and resources.

An important aspect to achieve optimal resource utilization is hygienic design. This is the basis for successful cleaning. Flush installation, without dead space, reduces mixing during phase change and accelerates effective temperature exchange. Our experts will show you in the webinar how you can use the Baumer Hygienic Connection to save energy, water, time and cleaning agents while ensuring cleaning efficiency and product safety.

Our experts

Scalable CIP solutions for optimal resource utilisation

With regard to rising raw material costs, the economical use of resources is becoming increasingly important in order to reduce the total cost of ownership. There is enormous potential for savings, especially in CIP cleaning. However, this is often controlled over time and there is a very low level of automation. With the use of the right sensors, the control of CIP equipment can be automated. This reduces cleaning time and saves cleaning agents and energy.

Energy saving in heat exchangers

A fast response time of the sensors improves the control loop and thus helps to protect the quality as well as to reduce the energy demand. The shorter the response time of the temperature sensor, the earlier the heating valve can be activated. This makes it possible to work with low safety margins, but also to lower the overall temperature level. This saves heat energy and reduces the negative impact on product taste.

We meet the requirements of the food industry

Baumer process sensors meet the requirements for materials in contact with food according to EN 1935/2004 ff, 10/2011, 2023/2006, FDA and GB 4806 as well as the hygienic requirements of EHEDG and 3A. Developed for the food industry, our sensors meet the requirements for robustness and durability that 24/7 operation demands. External cleaning, heat, cold, condensation and vibration cannot harm them. To ensure these properties, we go one step further and develop and test according to our own more stringent processes. This is how we achieve proTect+, a specially developed standard for the leak test of our sensors during intensive cleaning.

Simple and fast to optimal function - with the right accessories

More than 40 connection types allow sensors to be integrated into the system easily, quickly, cost-effectively and, above all, safely - and without any adjustments. This facilitates installation and shortens commissioning time.
