10 GigE cameras
Thanks to 10 GigE interface, the LXT models offer you fast image transmission and reduced evaluation times. At the same time, you benefit from all advantages of the GigE Vision standard: widespread use throughout the industry, cable lengths up to 100 meters and easy, cost-effective integration without any special frame grabbers and cables.
High-performance functions such as sequencer, Dual Conversion Gain, Burst Mode, HDR and IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) are available. These increase frame rates and facilitate an accurate time synchronization in multi-camera systems. The liquid lens support excels in applications with quickly changing distances between object and camera.
10 GigE cameras with JPEG image compression
The LXT cameras with integrated JPEG image compression allow high-speed image processing with a reduced bandwidth, a low CPU load, and low storage capacity requirements – thereby reducing system complexity and lowering the costs of integration. The configurable compression rate allows the image quality to be adjusted to the specific applications.
10 GigE cameras with optical cable interface
Some 10 GigE models feature an SFP+ port for optical cables instead of a 10GBase-T port for copper cables. This allows them to be used in applications over large distances of up to 10 kilometers without media converters. The cameras also have a lower power loss, which means that they dissipate less heat and require less cooling. Thanks to optical cables, the system design is flexible, simple, cost-effective and immune to electromagnetic interference.
