Baumer US is expanding due to remarkable growth over the last couple of years. On March 20, the Baumer headquarters in the United States will be relocated to 5 Century Drive in Bristol, Connecticut. 
This new building is triple the space of the current location in Southington, and will enable Baumer to increase the size of the warehouse for the convenience of the customers. “We are fortunate to be promoting a broad range of high performance products in automation technology and this serves as a solid foundation for our growth”, says Baumer US President Sophie Morneau. As a pioneering sensor specialist, Baumer is dedicated to offering customers the optimum sensor solution to every challenge.   

Baumer has been successful in the USA for more than 40 years, providing innovative standard sensors as well as customized smart sensor solutions for renowned US companies. Growing extremely fast in recent years, Baumer now needs more space to serve its customers best.   

The expansion doesn’t just include a new space. Baumer US is also hiring new employees: In the past month alone, Baumer has added five new members to the team to give customers the best support in advancing factory automation using smart sensor solutions.   

President Sophie Morneau is excited about the future adding: “We have ambitious goals and are moving forward full force to achieve them! We are also building a larger sales team to be closer to our customers. Our new US headquarters will allow us to house our growing team and provide additional storage space for the increasing demand of products.
