All-round solution for force measurement of the future
In addition to the DLM force sensors and DST strain sensors, the DAB industrial measurement amplifiers from Baumer provide a complete measurement chain for force measurement. The mV/V signal provided by force sensors and strain sensors is processed by measurement amplifiers and converted into a corresponding output signal. The measurement amplifier is available in a purely IO-Link version as well as in a dual channel version with voltage or current output and a digital IO-Link interface. All three versions are equipped with two additional I/Os that can be used as switching outputs or for additional digital data. Matching accessories such as connecting cables, an IO-Link master, and software tools round off the portfolio and allow easy and quick integration into the process.

Thanks to the dual channel with an analogue and digital output, force sensors can be used in both conventional control architectures as well as via a digital interface. The benefits of IO-Link can therefore be used during sensor commissioning, which considerably simplifies the parameterization. Nevertheless, the sensor can control the process via the analog output.
