Baumer remains on course for growth. The Group of Companies specialized in smart sensor solutions for factory and prozess automation is currently building a new, modern R&D center at the Frauenfeld headquarter in Switzerland at a cost of 20 million Swiss francs. The new building is the second major investment focussing on innovation within few years, following the High-Tech Center in Stockach (opening in 2018).
On 31 October 2019, we celebrated the official opening of our newly established branch in North Macedonia near Skopje. After a construction period of only 9 months, this new location strengthens Baumer's position in the European market. The Skopje region has existing, highly qualified personnel and allows us to deliver quickly to our customers throughout Europe.
Once again, the excellent credit standing and stable economic business development of Baumer has been certified by Bisnode in their D&B Rating certificate. In the course of the past 12 months, Baumer ranked repeatedly in the lowest risk category. Only 2% of all Swiss companies obtain access to the certification.
